Name: Bumblebee

From: Transformers Prime

Appearance:
Vehicle Mode

Age: Pretty old by human standards, late teens-early twenties by Cybertronian standards

Gender: Bee’s referred to as a ‘he’

Personality: As a scout Bee is cheerful, energetic, determined, and protective. Though he’s the youngest of the Autobot team, and not fully warrior class, he nevertheless holds his own in any and all fights. Being a scout means that he’s had to be fast, clever, and tough enough to survive on his own for long periods of time, and surviving this far into the war means he’s certainly been enough.
He has something of a mischievous streak, and is not above the occasional bending of the rules in the case of something fun. However, he is completely loyal to Optimus and his cohorts. When he has adopted someone into his family, he does everything he can to defend them.
Being a young ‘bot by Cybertronian standards, Bee still hasn’t gained much in the way of caution or restraint, whether it’s in battle or in choosing to go street racing against orders.

Backstory: Not much is known of the years between the beginning of the Autobot/Decepticon war and the start of the series, but Bumblebee was one of the last generations sparked during the war, and as such is the youngest member of Prime’s cohort. Though he has been trained as a scout, he is still too young to be considered full warrior class.
Sometime during the war his voice box was damaged beyond repair, details are sketchy. He is unable to communicate in either Cybertronian or any human language, and instead ‘talks’ through buzzes and whistles. He gets by.
At the start of the show he has been on Earth for three years or a little longer, and is the first of the Autobots to fully adopt his own human, and is definitely the most cheerful about it.
The rest of that is mostly spoilers, start here or go here if you don’t mind them.
His canon point is as follows:
When a prophesied alignment of planets awakens Unicron who begins sending horrible tremors and disturbing weather patterns worldwide, the Autobots reluctantly team up with Megatron and groundbridge into the core of the planet, and Unicron himself. Prime releases the Matrix of Leadership to send Unicron back into stasis, so that Earth survives, but doing so erases all the memories of the War, reverting him back to Orion Pax. Megatron convinces him that he’s a Decepticon, so the last Bee and the others see of him is a blank look and Megatron bridging OP back to the Decepticon ship.
The rest of the Autobots are forced to bridge back to base without him, and that is where Bee is coming from.

Moral Standing: Good!

Dreams: Being mostly incomprehensible to the audience, Bee doesn’t often discuss this sort of thing, but it’s clear that he craves the respect of his fellow Autobots (Optimus especially), and to stand among them as an equal.

Fears: Members of his family getting hurt, (including and especially his squishy human, Raf), Megatron, and being eaten by scraplets.

Extra: Bumblebee ‘talks’ in a way that’s half whistling half a buzz. (as seen here ) There are tonal cadences to it, and his fellow Autobots seem to understand with no trouble, however the only human shown to consistently understand him is Raf. Time spent listening to him, plus his rather expressive body language can certainly help with better understanding.
Samples: Here’s some , but you really should just watch the whole series~
